Study Advisors

Study Advisors support the students of the MSc Programme “Public Administration and Local Government”, providing academic guidance on matters related to the progress of their studies, course selection, understanding of regulations, and handling issues that arise during their studies.

Every student enrolled in the Programme is assigned an Academic Advisor, a member of the teaching staff. The Advisor’s role is supportive and advisory, aiming at smooth integration into the study programme, better organisation of the student’s academic progress, and connecting students with the services available at the University.

Role of the Study Advisors

Academic Advisors provide students with information and guidance about their studies. They can help with matters such as course selection, training and research options, handling issues related to the study programme, and clarifying questions about academic regulations.

They can also act as a link between students and the University’s support services, such as the Student Welfare Office, the Internship Office, and the Student Counselling Centre. In this way they enrich the academic experience and support students in achieving their academic goals.

Contact

All students are encouraged to contact their Academic Advisors and meet them at least once a year. Information about names, Advisor assignment, and office hours is available from the Secretariat of the MSc Programme.
