The University of Peloponnese has always been a regional tertiary education institution with a commitment to not only providing education but also making a significant impact on the economic and social development of the Peloponnese Region.
Furthermore, it endeavors to play a vital role in enhancing the cultural identity of the broader Peloponnese area and contributing to improving living standards and social welfare.
The University of Peloponnese’s education and research programs cover a wide range of topics. The university has a strong international presence and is committed to providing high-quality educational services, making a significant impact on the academic landscape of the region. Despite a rapidly changing environment, the University of Peloponnese remains focused on achieving excellence in education and research, while addressing future challenges and opportunities. It is realigning its research strategy to focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, the new digital age, large-scale development, and attracting funding.

STRATEGIC PLANNING
The strategic goals of the Department are linked to those of the University.
The basic principles that summarize the mission and vision of our Postgraduate “Public Administration and Local Self-Government” programme are harmonized and integrated into the general principles and vision of the Department and the University, and are illustrated as follows:

Principles of the Postgraduate programme:

  1. Transparency: Achieved through effective communication and publicity of all procedures
  2. Objectivity: Achieved through standardization of learning, research and administrative processes
  3. Effectiveness: Achieved through the assessment of results and the implementation of best practices.

The strategic objectives of the Department and of the Postgraduate Program are aligned with the overall objectives of the University, which include the following:

  5. Improving the management of the University’s infrastructure and services through tuition fees

The strategy of the Postgraduate Program by the Assembly of the Department of Business and Public Administration The strategy of the Postgraduate Program by the Department of Business is based on the overall strategy of the University. Its goal is to create a strong foundation in the field of Public and Local Administration through a student-centered learning process. This involves gaining knowledge in both classical and cutting-edge technology, acquiring practical experience, analyzing and evaluating data, and understanding limitations and possibilities.

The preparation and direction of professional career, eligibility and competitiveness of its graduates through the understanding of science with modern technological means and methods, based on bibliography, research and modern digital media.

The development of the ability of its graduates in the modern digital era, the ever-developing society, the rapid increase in knowledge and the changing demands of the labor market, to continue their intellectual development and training, facing the fourth industrial revolution by constantly acquiring new skills and abilities.

Knowledge through research (basic and applied) both in areas of Management and in interdisciplinary fields, following the developments of science and expanding its scope.

Its contribution to the effort for reconstruction and development of the wider region and the country, in cooperation with productive bodies and businesses through excellence, research, innovation, production and entrepreneurship, self-motivation and teamwork.
